SUMMARY:BALDACHIN FESTIVAL
DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYes, the worst can be beautiful and the bad can be very good.\nBut how good can the bad be? What is awkward? And how lovely can recorders sound when played by amateurs? This year’s edition of Baldachin invites everyone to come along and explore these questions with us. And there’s more: We also want to find out something about saying “Hello”, “Goodbye”, “Ja Ja Ja” and “Ne Ne Ne”. All beautiful things, by the way. We’ll make music by drawing random things and using everyday objects as instruments. In between it all, there will be lights, whispering. And on stage Koko Cappelle and Chris Imler, tearing the place apart with lyrics and beats. And in the end we dance. See you there 👋 Team Baldachin\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBASIC INFO\ndates 30.-31.10.2026\nlocation Spektakel Wien, Hamburgerstraße 14 1050 Wien\ndoors open at 18:00, close at 02:00 (same for the bar)\nentry free donation (the more the better ☺️)\nTIMETABLE\n30.10.2026\n18:00 OPENING with BLOCKFLÖTENGEWITTER opening ceremony\n19:00 COMPETITION FOR THE WORST PIANO PLAYING music competition\n21:00 CHRIS IMLER concert\n22:00 DIY DISCO with ENSEMBLE MOBIL participatory concert\n23:00 JAJAJAJA NENENENE participatory performance\n31.10.2026\n18:00 COLLECTIVE COMPOSING participatory concert\n19:00 THE ACT OF SAYING HELLO (AND GOODBYE) performance\n20:00 AWKWARD DANCE REVUE performance\n21:00 KOKO CAPPELLE concert\n22:00 DISCOTECA COSMICA clubbing\nboth days\n18:00 – 02:00 WHISPERS (LIGHTS) exhibition\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
