SUMMARY:I’M CROCODILED | Chapter One: In Character BY SAAD AL GHEFARI
DESCRIPTION:\n“I’m Crocodiled” is a powerful blend of monodrama and stand-up comedy, celebrating the resilience of the Levantine spirit. To be “crocodiled” is to endure, adapt, and thrive—a local metaphor for an unbreakable soul.\nThis unique performance fuses the precision of theatre with the unpredictability of comedy, evolving in real-time with the audience’s reactions. Your laughter, your questions, and your energy shape the story, making each show a one-of-a-kind experience.\nJoin this bold experiment and discover what it means to be “crocodiled”.\nSaad Al Ghefari is an actor an Stand-Up comedian from Syria based in Vienna graduated from the Higher Institute of Drama in Damascus.\nRaised in a family of female artists, he grew up immersed in discussions about religion, politics, art, and women’s rights. Following a successful career in film, theater, and television, Al Ghefari became increasingly drawn to comedy as an art form and a powerful means of communication. During the Syrian war, he began exploring the diverse forms and languages of comedy. In 2014, he made history by becoming the first stand-up comedian in Damascus, pioneering a previously non-existent genre in Syria.\nEngaged in cross-cultural perspectives on history, mythology, and etymology, Al Ghefari seeks to showcase these traditions through new media, recognizing their potential to engage youth as a movement for a global understanding to come.\n„I’m Crocodiled“ is an ongoing series by Saad Al Ghefari dedicated to the suffering souls of artists all over the world. And of course a celebration of the freedom in Syria.\nThe show is in english.\nfor reservations: office@spektakel.wien ( mailto:office@spektakel.wien )\nTicket : 25 €Students : 15 €\n
